I tried to print an oreo cookie model, the black top and bottom part.
Tried it two times in different sizes. Both times the print would create straight lines across the circle when he should print a circle.
In the slicer preview everything looked normal.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?
Sliced with Orca Slicer.
Used the default 0.16mm High Quality @BBL X1C profile
The problem is really with the model. The start of the partial physical thread is trying to print just above the build plate so it has nothing to attach to. To a void this the model should have the thread “nipped” or have a chamfer on the start of the thread so only a full thread is started.
That being said you can probably save the model by cutting out the stringing with a small utility knife. You might also try printing at a lower layer height as threads overhangs will print better that way.
