Normally I just use Bambu Studio and auto orient the part in the slicer and I don’t have any issues. I decided with this part to orient it at 40 degrees and use auto supports but when I printed the part it failed about 1/3 of the way through the print.
but if I rotate the model to 90 degrees it printed “OK”
When it was at 40 I also tried printing using auto standard supports but had the same issue.
The table I have the printer on is not fully rigid so that possibly could contribute to the failure IF printing at the angle caused more abrupt printer motion compared to when the model was horizontal to the bed.
I only mention about my table if anyone can’t think of the reason for the failed prints. I could share my project if that helps.
Thanks,
George
