Print Freezing during nozzle cleaning but pausing gets it restarted

I am new to 3d printing and I am a little baffled with this issue. I’m not sure if I am doing something wrong or it’s the printer. I start a print, it begins the calibration cycle, and then it stops at the nozzle cleaning stage. When it happened the first time, I did some research on here and thought it might be the SD card, so I replaced it. I worked great for the next 7 or 8 prints and then today (Feb 6) it began the acting up again. So I paused the print, just to see what would happen. It homed then began the print. The nozzle was showing 290C or a little higher but when I paused and restarted it was less than 160C. Has anyone come across something like this? If so, what do I need to do to fix it, so I don’t have to pause it to get it to print. BTW, this has happened on 4 different files, so I don’t think it would be my slicer setting but I’m not really sure.

I have also had this (Post must be at least 25 characters)

Hey question, are you using one of the Bambu Labs plates or an after market version? Reason I am asking is that I just changed back to the original plate that came with it and it is working fine now. I was using a BIQU designer plate and I think I might have been using that some plate when it happened before but I can’t remember

I was using the Bambu Lab gold textured PEI plate

What does your bed temperature show during this pause?

It shows in the 290 range but I switched back to the textured pei plate from BL and I haven’t had a problem with it… I’m going to try the other plates and see if I can reproduce the error but that will be tomorrow

I was asking about the bed temperature. Because when my other printer was having bed temperature issues, it would “pause” randomly because the temp was going all over the spectrum and it would pause whenever it was out of the target range.

I honestly can’t remember what the temp was on the bed but I want to say like 65C but that might explain why when I changed back to the OEM plate it worked like it was supposed to

I had it where the bed wasn’t heating up anymore, I solved it by cancelling and restarting the print.

Support told me, that if the thermal sock isn’t on correctly then it will cause issues with heating. So that might be something to check. So far, all I am having issues with with the BIQU plates
