Print from sd card

Hello all.

I have a STEP file on a formatted Fat32 micro sd card.
I insert the card into the printer display, but it says there is no sd card. What am I doing wrong?? The cables for the LCD are plugged in and work.
Is it even possible to print strait from the sd card?

Any help is appreciated, thanks

Regards Josh

Did you format the card in the printer? If not, try to format the card with the official SD Card formatter from the SD Association: SD Memory Card Formatter for Windows/Mac | SD Association

The printer is only capable of printing, not slicing.
Slice the .step file in BambuStudio and export it.
You could send the file through the cloud service to the inserted sd, directly print it or export the slicced archive to a file and put it directly onto the sd card.

If the SD-Card is not showing up in the settings tab on the printer, try letting the printer format it (on the same settings tab)

Thankyou for the replies lads, the step.file was not sliced, it was straight out of fusion. Ill see how I go from there.

Regards
Joshua
