Anyone else notice that this happens. Noticed it on my first X1c and then unpacking my second, when I slide the print head around, the lights on the print head flash a little while it’s moving.
Completely normal. When you move the head, the motor acts as a generator.

That’s kind of what I was thinking. Just never seen it before but never had integrated LEDs like this so that’s probably why.
