So far, Every time I get a new spool, I weigh it and then dry it and weigh a few more times as it’s drying. I keep on drying until the weight stops going down.
I have dried maybe 40 spools by now and only 3 were completely dry and lost no water. All others lost 2 or more grams of water. Some had 6-9 grams of water.
