Print misalignment

Newbie here, doing test prints with new printer.

I made a test piece in Fusion 360, with features of defined dimensions. When printed, there are edges and offsets not in the original design, nor do they appear in the slicer – even when zoomed in.

Specifically, in the image, the end of the piece should be flat, but a portion is offset from the base.

Any idea what’s happening, and how to fix?

What position did you have it for printing?
what kind of filament?
did you pause it during print?

Position? It was lying flat, like in the photo.

Basic PLA, which came with the printer.

No pauses (not sure how to do that).

Note that some of the other structures that came to the edge of the base had the same kind of overhang.

Strange. Maybe someone else will have an idea.

Apparently, I can’t upload the Fusion 360 file here.

Thought maybe someone more skilled could take a look and print.

You might be able to if you zip it first. I have found that many sites only allow a few file types and zip is one of them.

Not zip files either.

It seems that only image files are permitted.

You could try on the bambulab subreddit. I am not sure what kind of attachments they allow.

thanks, will try there.
