I used to print on Creality printers and used a mirror as a buildsurface. Ilike the mirror finish it gives on the bottom layers and it sticks very well and popps off when it cools down.
On the X1C I have now I cant use glass or a mirror because of the wiper on the rear of the buildsurfaces.
Can Bambu Lab make a glass / mirror surface to print on? I understand lidar etc would not work, but I would love to give it a try.
There are tons of 3rd party build plates available that will give you a mirror/shiny finish. I use this one and can recommend it but there many others if you do a Google search.
So much better than the old glass plates as you can flex the prints off at the end. Also works fine with lidar.
Yes, I have one of those, but it is not the same. Not even close.
You could probably erase the nozzle clean g-code and just manually clean the nozzle before starting the print.
