but I want to avoid pooping or purging to see what it will look like to just continue print after filament change. I know that there is a “flush into object” option but this one works only with two objects and one selected to purge into and after using it on single object print looks like this:
I rarely use prime towers, i think bambu printers are tuned pretty well that during the poop process and flush to infill they pretty much have primed themselves. I fell prime towers giv e more chance of print failures as they can get knocked over and either ruing the print or you will have to manipulate the tower back into place somehow(if you catch it early enough) to hopefully save your print. I adjust my flushing volumes each time as well so i dont get any bleeding. Here is a sample i did with no bleed and no prime tower. This was PETG btw
that being said i think something wrong with your model flush to infill should work with any multicolor print even if just one piece. No pooping is not an option it has to use that process but if you adjust your flushing volumes you can cut down a little bit on the waste
i dont know never thought of that nor do i care to try but perhaps someone could test that theory on a small model and see what happens. but it will most likely cause bleeding it needs to purge out those color changes especially when going from dark to light colors
I think that’s what they want, I was considering it to create a rust effect, on my bot board design, (little rover written in rust), thought could be cool. If can try in a bit will report back.
