Print Profile instead of Remix?

I wanted a poop bucket that hanged on the printer ranther than standing around.
Found this one that didnt require magnets, but it had a little issue I wanted to get around, simply increasing the back wall to catch anything that might ‘bounce’ out of the chute.
As I saw in the ratings that it was the biggest point of concern for this.
I made other alterations as well, but that doesnt matter for this question.

The author didnt alow remixes, but I still wanted to share this edit with the community.
Would I instead be able to post that as a print profile for it?
Or would that be outside of the purpose of a print profile?

Put print profile in AFAIK. It’s a good change.

I think the author would be fine with your remix. After all, it’s bringing positive influence

well I would have uploaded it as a remix, but they didnt allow for it.

DM the designer, I see this as a stealth remix and the designer has made their views known.

Asking first might well get you a positive response.

You have to have at least level 7 on MW to do that. But DMing creator is best way.
