When i try to upload a print Profile, i get the following error:
Your print profile “0.16mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill” for “Invisible Wall Mount” did not pass the slicing test. Please make sure the model is sliced normally on Bambu Studio before uploading.
I published 5 print Profiles succesfully, but this will not work and it slices succesfully in Bambu Studio.
I invested some time and looked at the whole thing in detail and also wrote to Makerworld support.
There are models where you simply can’t upload a print profile.
I took all 3 print profiles, changed the photos, changed the description, changed all the slicer settings in Bambu Studio one by one. I even tried to upload the models with default settings in the slicer - without success.
While I was able to upload other print profiles in the meantime, for some models it is simply not possible.
The only thing I have noticed that these 3 models have in common: They basically need support to print well. But even without support in the slicer, uploading is unsuccessful.
Support replied that there was a time restriction in Makerworld’s internal slicer - but that can’t be a reason either, because a day later - without having tried again - I still can’t upload the print profiles.
Could someone create and upload their own print profile for a model as a test?
That would be very nice - then you would know that there are probably geometries / models that the Makerworld slicer simply cannot process.
Just had one fail in past few minutes. I’ve a custom printer setup, so I changed to default, changed the settings to a default profile, and nothing works. Simple design, zero needed or wanted supports. (fits entirely flat on bed) Oh well
Thank you for your time and patience. Upon examination, it appears that the issue lies within our system and the model images.
If the model author deletes and re-adds the model images before republishing the model, the issue may be fixed.
If this approach is not feasible, please await our resolution of this matter. We are actively working towards optimizing our system and aim to fully rectify this issue in upcoming versions, allowing for the seamless uploading of print profiles.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and negative user experience this may have caused.
Your understanding and support are greatly appreciated.
