Print Profile Taken Down...again

I am facing problems with multiple print profiles benn taken down - with “No physical image of the print”.
Fact is. i have an image of the printed piece, so how can it be more physical than physical???

This is getting really frustrating.

Today one of my profiles has been taken daown again, although there was no change of pictures (and its still a picture of the printed item, taken with my mobile)…

Any suggestions than Appeal again?
Claw Stand

Maybe save that for the thumbnail but add a few extra pictures of it that aren’t so nice and show the flaws of a print. Up close with a thumb in the photo.

Take a photo of it in your hand?

And be sure to thank all the AI folks who break the rules and cause others actually taking real photos to get caught in their wake.

Are you sure that photos are uploaded to the PRINT PROFILE, not a model? I mean, there are 2 places where you can add photos and it’s important to add them to the print profile (photos in main gallery can be renders).
I keep reporting someone who has obvious renders instead of real photos, and Makerworld doesn’t really care about it, they hasn’t been removed. Your photo looks like a photo, so I don’t understand why did they take it down.

100% sure it was the same exact picture

I would either change the background a bit, or toss in a reference item. Because that pic was well enough shot to come up looking like a poorly done fake if you follow. Not an insult just an observation…

Now if you have time, could we discuss your process? I have been lugging a camera for 40 years and your product shot is wayh better than I have ever made.

Well thank you! To be honest: that picture was taken in about 10 seconds.
The print was placed on our dresser and I made a simple Portrait Picture with my iPhone.
That’s all the magic…

Take photos that aren’t blurry

Well… it’s not blurry at all. At least what’s in the pint profile.
This is zoomed in :

You are not alone, quite a few users are affect by ‘quality and content control measures’.
I have to admit, being in hurry to check uploads I probably would have flagged it as well.
It the mix of AI like background, polish metal look finish and the sharp details.
Especially those tiny marks under the triangles that are ‘stamped in’.
I have trophies with quite similar features, in metal, and it IS hard to judge things by your pic.
Not complaining! If anything I find the print quality VERY good and the picture, unlike so many is sharp and detailed - like what so many get from AI.

I already stated to Bambu that it is no problem to use the EXIF data from JPEG image to check whether or not it is a genuine shot.
Fakes and AI generated images usually don’t contain camera and/or location information.
Yes, one can fake those headers but most crooks here wouldn’t know how to.
Bambu shot themselves in the head through the knee here.
They demand clean pics with plain backgrounds - what AI does.
They demand real pics of the print but won’t force uploaders to include a pic from the printer camera during print.
They demand quality while no showing the same quality (of work) from their end.
I guess a good compromise might be just include an unsuitable pic of the print as well, like one where you are holding it you hand…
It’s not right if you do right and end up being accused of doing wrong…

better dpi. get a better camera. its blurry.

I had 5 of my prints taken down due to photo infringements, I appealed and showed the moderator that photos where on my print profiles and within 24 hours most of my prints where available again and points taken where returned. It appears there are people working hard in the background for BL. It appears instead of complaining on the forums and actually reacting to the issue directly is a better and easier way to go and creates a more positive vibe.
