I wanted to ad a print profile to one of my own models. I sliced the file with bambu studio, then went to the menu file → export → generic 3mf file. Then I made a new print profile upload at the makerworld website, but the upload failed: the error message says “The 3mf is not generated by Bambu Studio”. Have I overlooked something?
It is the project file 3mf’s that you upload to makerworld as print profiles - not the generic or gcode versions.
Thank you, now the upload for worked fine.
But now I have another problem to upload a print profile for another of my models: the upload fails, but there is no error message. So I can’t see what’s the Problem. I made a new print of the model, uploaded the 3mf as you described before, made new photos and added them. But after uploading the profile it is in the folder “Verifying” and then a few seconds later in the folder “Failed” - without any error message.
mine tells me this error message: “painted 4 color dragon.gcode.3mf is a sliced G-code file that does not contain the geometric data of the model. Please upload the original 3mf file.” I don’t know how to do this, please help!
Once you have setup your build plate/s, either go File>Save Project or click Ctrl+S (CMD+S on Mac) to save the project as a 3mf file. This is what you upload to Makerworld.
