I have the same issues but with my X1C. I will file a report and downgrade it to 1.6.
And alsoā¦why can i not drag files .3mf, .stl etc from a folder to the slicer? just all of a suddenā¦

Iād like to tell you my story about Bambu Studio 1.7 in advance. With 1.7.1.62 my P1P prints everything without any problems. I had run the 2 subsequent updates as a newbie because you are so used to iPhones etc. and thatās when my problems started. After update 1 spaghetti printing without end. After the second update I couldnāt print at all, the first layer was just a pile of mud. In desperation I ran all the calibration tests I could find. After each adjustment it was worse than before. I was really desperate - a printer with 2 AMS and it only prints junk! I have 2 Macs and had installed the Bambu software on both of them, luckily I hadnāt carried out any updates on one of them, a friend had given me the tip to try out the previous version again and lo and behold everything was 100% again. I am only writing in such detail because I would have undone the firmware updates and everything. That would have ruined everything. I now always proceed as follows and print from the SD card the small scratch (it is quite filigree) is in order is not on the printer. I have the printer now for 8 weeks and knowledge still limited and then such a mess I leave now until further notice the fingers of any updates.

Yes. Downgraded and it worked again.
