I’m trying to print a PETG component that I have previously printed, successfully, 3 times.
3 days ago I upgraded to BambuStudio 1.5.0.59 (MAC) and problems started.
I have removed my older 1.4.2.13 and the new 1.5.0.59, rebooted and re-loaded 1.4.2.13. I believe my configs are in the cloud because I got the Network loading message when starting 1.4.2.13 and still see my custom filaments. So I am probably 1.4.2.13 with some 1.5.x configs - a hybrid.
Are the BambuStudio Slicer configs hidden files?
With my hybrid 1.4.x I have gone back to both the original .stl and .3mf with exactly the same print results as I had with 1.5.x.
As these original files have not been changed since my print 4 days ago why can’t I reprint the part with 1.5.x?
The problem is the peripheral walls of the part are building faster than the core walls - the part is not building level. In photo1 the edges of the gear are 1.31mm higher than the core and the left part height is 1.32mm higher than the right side. The differences increase with each layer until interference with the nozzle leads to deformation (the gear teeth in photo) then the nozzle drags the higher points and the part detaches, print fails (photo2).
Part printed 4 days ago photo3 - using the same filament plus another one with the same results.
I don’t believe that settings are the issue.
How can I find and remove all, local and cloud, settings created by 1.5.x so I can go back to a working 1.4.x Bambu Studio?
