Trying to print some door corners which I feel like were normally in the ~1-2 hour range (ie. door corners in general) … but now on multiple models I am getting 6+ hours … ie. not picking on this model (several others were similar)
I tried resetting all of my preference in Bambu Studio (in case there was some lingering confusion from my A1.. but still seeing 6+ hours for a 8mm thick door corner ??? (I scaled Z to 4mm and still almost 5 hours)… Am I just picking “bad” models, or is the A2L slicing not first class yet? (I though A2L was supposed to be faster than A1)
I’m guessing you’re surprised by the amount of time it takes to iron. It takes time. Remove it if you prefer, the guy who made your model felt it was important.
They also added 10 top layers which, imo, seems excessive at 0.2 layer height, and is a reason why internal solid infill is consuming so much time. If I reslice with iron off and a more conservative 5 tops, it cuts 2 hours off.
