Has anyone designed a replacement latch for the H2 enhanced cooling fan? I snapped mine when swapping it back from the cutter module. Bambu only sells the entire fan assembly for $40 when it looks like the latch itself is attached by bolts and would be no big deal to change all by itself.
This is much needed. Those clips are very fragile.
Good idea. I will make one. The cover will need to be printed vertically though for the latch not to break along layer lines and certainly beef it up. It never happened to me but would be good to have a spare just in case.
Thanks. I’ve been holding off touching the old one (it’s not completely broken off yet) until the new one arrives. I’ve been wondering if some epoxy in the split as well as a thin metal backer glued to the back would save the one I’ve got, so I want to be careful not to snap it off completely if possible.
I really think Bambu could/should make just the piece the latch is attached to available as it’s own spare part, I could be wrong but from what I’ve seen it shouldn’t be a difficult to replace part and would be far cheaper than the entire assembly.
I also agree and had the same thought about layer orientation.
