please excuse if this is a silly question, but I cannot find any related information.
Should it be possible to connect to the printer if Bambu Studio is running on a computer outside of my local network? I tried to connect from a different location but it failed. Do I need to configure some port forwarding in my router or open a port on my computer?
I tried switching off the firewall but it didn’t help.

If you want to connect to the printer, you would need to know the port the printer is listening to, to enable port forwarding in your router.
I see no reason why it should not be possible to do that.
Sure it would be no problem to do that if I only knew the port… 
On Discord I saw that someone mentioned port 8883, so I will give it a try.
