Hi Bambu Friends,
I’m very new to 3D printing and running into a frustrating issue with my new H2D. I have had the printer about a month and recently, during the end of prints 8ish hours long, it will fail without a specific error. The Light on the bed will start blinking and some times the lights on the AMS2 will blink as well. The only way to fix the issue is to hard power down the printer. after powering back up the printer seems to work fine other then unloading the filament using the AMS. Bambu Handy shows that the print was cancelled(not done by me) or Failed without a specific error. If I leave Bambu studio on during the print after the failure the printer is just N/A. the printer lcd will say print cancelled or failed with no error codes. The AMS will not show on the LCD until the printer is rebooted.
It seems to have no issue for short prints. I have performed a few test prints to make sure the nozzle work fine In between failures. I believe at some point I was able to print 8+ hours but this week it has always failed.
Things I have tried that don’t change the outcome:
1.Printing with and without a sdcard.
2.I have 2 AMS2 PRO’s, I have tried them separate, together and with different 6 pin cables.
3. running all the calibrations again.
4. Disable build plate detections.
5. I have looked at other posts on this forum and reddit, but the effected printers all seem to be other models and the solutions did not work for me.
6. It has happened on 2 different models downloaded from makers world. each model has failed 2-3 times
7. I have used the same roll of Bambu ASA filament, I have dried it using both of the AMS 2 to 10%rh about 9ish hours twice.
p.s
Going to try and perform a factory reset next. I have opened a support ticket waiting for a reply, but would love to hear any suggestions on what else I can check.
I have read that doing a firmware downgrade may help but this seems to not be an option on the H2D? I know the firmware that came with the H2D was not 01.02 but I’m not sure if I ran the printer for long prints on the previous versions. I think I have performed a firmware update twice(on setup) and to 01.02, but did not pay attention to the firmware versions while updating
Thanks
