I had this problem with my p1p and tried everything to fix it and discovered after changing the slicing software to the p1s it worked like new again not sure why but I haven’t had any problems using the p1s slicing software with my p1p
In case anyone finds this useful, I had a dumb problem that probably made things worse because I couldn’t figure it out sooner: i had a cube filament piece nearly the same color as the wall blocking the motor. It must have lifted off my plate during a failed test print and I didn’t realize it. Check for any blockage if resets and calibrations don’t seem to work!
Hi all,
I have a similar issue with my P1S printer. After the bed leveling is completed, right before starting to print, when the printer moves to print the first straight line in front of the printer door, it hits the front-left corner so hard that the front cover of the printer falls off. I’ve tried some calibrations and reprinting, but the problem persists. I also made sure to select the correct profile for my printer before printing. Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi,
Just an update: I’ve turned off the printer, cleaned all the rods, performed a factory reset, and recalibrated it, but the issue persists. Has anyone encountered this problem or can someone assist me in resolving it?
Thank you!
I did a full cleaning to the printer P1S but the printer keeps hitting the front corner
The printer is supposed to contact the front left corner as that is how the filament cutter is activated. Is the cover still falling off?
Yes, My Bambu Lab P1S keeps falling off right after the bed leveling is finished and the printer starts the first line of the print. I wasn’t able to upload the video, but I took a screenshot showing where the printer is crashing. I’m not sure what’s going on, as all my settings seem correct. I’ll attach them here for your reference.
Does the printer do the same thing when you print one of the files included on the SD card like the benchy?
I haven’t tried that yet, but I have printed multiple files from Makerworld, and the same issue persists. I will try printing one of the files from the SD card and let you know how it goes."
Hey, here’s an update: First of all, I redid the calibration for the printer using Bambu Studio, and to my surprise, the printer went through many more calibration steps than when I use the Bambu Handy app. After that, I printed one of the files from the SD card, and it printed just fine. I then tried printing other models from Makerworld, and everything went perfectly. I’m not entirely sure what resolved the issue, but I really appreciate your help and response!
