Printer Monitor only program

I have a main PC which I use to design parts and run Bambu Studio to print them, but this PC and the printer are in a different room to where I spend my time.
Is there/could there be a version of Studio or similar that just has the ‘monitor device’ aspect of Studio? I know I can run Bambu Handy on a phone, but running full studio on a laptop seems over-the-top and also it results in a fairly small video window.
It would be nice if it showed:

  • A video feed
  • Time left
  • Pause/Stop controls

This would allow monitoring and stopping if a print goes wrong.

So you want a custom version of Bambu Studio just to remove features that you don’t want to use? Why not just use regular Bambu Studio and leave it on the device tab?

The reason for asking is because the video image size is small on a 13" laptop screen and for monitoring purposes most of the information on this tab is not needed.

There are a couple open source projects that would do just this. Search “Bambu Farm” on the forum.
