Printer not facilitating a PLA cold pull

When performing a PLA cold pull, your instructions say to pull the filament out while pressing “retract”. However, the nozzle has to have cooled down to 100C before doing this, and each time you press “retract” you get a warning to make sure the nozzle is set to at least 170C. This means constantly having to clear the warning while extracting the filament. Novice users may also be confused by this and may follow the instructions and set the temp to 170C, which is not correct for a cold pull.

There should be a “cold pull” mode. Ideally, this could be in the Maintenance section and walk you through the entire process, similar to manually loading filament. Alternatively, there should at least be a way to indicate you are doing a cold pull to disable the warning about the nozzle temperature being too low.

But there is a checkbox in your Printers Display to disable the 170° warning.
And then you can do your cold pull without annoying warnings
