I set a small 15 minute print to run and was gone for a few hours. When I came back, the printer was stopped after it finished the calibration line, but still thought it was in the middle of a print.
I then canceled the print and sent it again to the printer. This time it printed the whole part, but after printing a layer, it would stop for about 20 seconds, and then print the next layer. This happened for every single layer.
This is the first time I have seen this and haven’t tried another print yet to see if it is an ongoing thing becaue the print is still printing.
Has anybody ever seen this and do you have an explanation of why it is happening?
Have you adjusted the minimum layer time? It defaults to 4 seconds.

Not intentionally, it was just the default settings. Where is that setting?
From this post
It may be also alternatively related to a time-lapse setting?

I didn’t think about it when I first posted because almost all of my filament right now is Bambu lab. I was using a FlashForge PLA Pro purple filament, it is also a shinier filament than the Bambu PLA. The layer time is 8 and min print speed 20.
I did a test print with both a Bambu and FlashForge filament and the Bambu didn’t pause at the end of layers, while the FlashForge did.
I am going to try to calibrate the FlashForge filament again and see if it still happens.
It is printing normally now. Previously, before I was having the delay for each layer, I had run the flow dynamics calibration on the filament. I suspect that something got messed up in the calibration. I had the bambu red PLA-CF running before and forgot to do an extra flushing to flush it out before I calibrated it, so maybe it contaminated the calibration.
This time I ran both the flow dynamic and the flow rate calibration, and my next test print was normal.
I can not find the area you are showing, Suggestions for the lost welcomed!
I thought that timelapse was on but that is too obvious, maybe it was the calibration!
I had issues trying to get the PLA/CF to load into the AMS and have had to print it from slot 4 which is the only one that will load this filament, have you had any issues with this filament?
Sounds like you got it figured out. Turning off timelapse and removing the SD card worked for me.
bro its the prints from the app thought
Do you have Timelapse on?
