Printer started printing fuzz

Have used printer for many hours and experienced several interesting issues. But I have never seen it print fuzz before.
My print room is at 30% humidity, My AMS unit shows 10% humidity. The room runs at 72 deg. My filament was in the dryer for 48hrs. I made a print with the filament (silk pla) and was fine. I started a second print and it was just putting out fuzz on the tex pei plate. Looked like wool fuzz and was not real thick. The printer said the nozzle was at the correct temp… I double checked for a plug or partial plug did not find any. I purged the filament and it came out fine. When I started the print again it was fuzz again.
Just looking for suggestions. Thanks

Have you cleaned your build plate?

It could be either a dirty build plate or the bed temperature being too low. If the temperature settings haven’t changed, perhaps the environmental temperature has dropped, and you might need to raise the bed temperature slightly.

Alternatively, it might simply be a dirty plate. If you handle the plate with your hands, it will eventually accumulate oils and dirt over time, so cleaning it regularly is a good practice.

Thanks for your response. I will try raising the bed temperature and see what happens. The build plate is clean I had two prints back to back The first was perfect and the plate is cleaned every use and even applied adhesive on the second and third failure did not change a thing.I checked for a partial clog and then run a purge of filament it was ok but when printing part just light fuzz. I am not sure that it is bed temp as it is very light fuzz like the hotend not producing enough filament. It is a new hotend. I have replaced the hotend also and see if there is a problem there.
Thanks for your input

Please keep us updated. If you have any pictures of your tests, we would love to see them.

My routine is to place my spools in a dryer both before and after they enter or leave the AMS, even if they come directly from vacuum-sealed packaging. If a spool is removed from the dryer but won’t be used immediately, I vacuum-seal it again with desiccant for storage.
