I have an issue where the printer stopped printing 1/2 way through a 48-hour print. The printer’s screen is not responding, even after a power cycle. When power is applied the lights come on and you can hear the fans but no screen, or network.
I opened a ticket with BBL, but figured I would try here as well. Any help would be much appreciated.
Was it previously making weird noises? Maybe from the rear. I ask because with a 24 hour print, there would be a lot of heat soaked into everything. And if the mainboard fan had stopped working, I can see a situation where the heat could cause an issue.
It’s not a problem; unfortunately, you will soon know it.
Just found the troubleshooting guide:
Which clarifies the steps and also the AP board location.
I think it is clear, but in case of doubts, ask.
Take your time reading it and try the more straightforward things; if some procedure seems tricky or confusing, I advise not following it.
If you follow the troubleshooting as described and don’t notice any improvement or changes, you may have a faulty component(s).
You must wait for BL’s reply unless you have spares at home to replace and test.
In my experience, they will reply and request the logs and a video of the issue with the ticket number in the background. You can start preparing this info, especially recording the video of the problem and also of you following their troubleshooting guide (just put some paper with the number in the background). This is time-consuming, so starting earlier and adequately documenting it may accelerate the process.
