There is something new since yesterday, my printer sometimes doesn’t go further than " Cleaning nozzle tip" step.
I’ve waited, waited, waited… printing doesn’t start.
It’s not always, but quite often.
What can be the root cause of this issue ?
Anyone already encountered this issue ?
I encountered this a while back. So memory may not serve well. However, IIRC, the nozzle was wiping in thin air as I had not properly placed the build plate. It was a couple of cm too far to the front.
After what felt like two complete eternities, the printer homed again and told me to check my plate location.
Of course, I may be misremembering and confusing things though…
OK,
I found the issue, it was the thermistor that was defective, the reading temp was inaccurate and the printer was waiting for the expected value.
Changed it and since not had the problem anymore.
