My printer turns on, and I can hear it running, but the screen stays on the opening Bambu lab screen and the printer doesn’t connect to the Internet either. I have turned it off, unplugged it, and left it unplugged for a while with no success, help please!
Did you try to connect to it using Bambu Studio?
You have to use the Handy phone app to connect the printer to WIFI.
Follow the setup instruction that came with it and it will walk you through initial start and calibration, then using the Handy app and scanning the code on the printer display.
I should have been more clear in my initial post. My apologies. My printer is not new. It’s not turning on all the way. Unless it got reset somehow?
I think a short video so we can see AND hear what is happening. Is there any movement at all when it is turned on? Do any lights come on? Have you swapped out the power cord? Did you try plugging in some high amp tool or appliance into the same plug the X1 plugs into? Maybe there is an issue with the circuit. It could be a whole host of things unrelated to the printer itself.
I will make a video as soon as I get back home. Very good points, thank you for all the suggestions and leads.
It sounds like it’s stalling on the splash screen. That’s a new one for me. I’m thinking it’s support ticket time. I did search the wiki for boot, splash and start. The only thing that looked close was diagnosing a black LCD, nothing about one stuck at the splash screen. That implies the main board is getting stuck in some part of the boot process.
I’m a newbie to the forum. I’m not seeing the support ticket option. I’ll try on my app and see if it will let me.
