Printing ABS causes little clumps all over build plate

I’ve printed ABS on my X1C and never had issues like this.

My first few layers of any ABS print has poor edges (not smooth, rough and messy looking) but more importantly these small clumps of ABS end up all over the build plate (see photo). I’ve done both calibration tests with Bambu black ABS and am looking for a place to start diagnosing the settings. TIA

I am not for 100% sure, but feels like over-extrusion to me.
A new flow calibration might help.

@foxtech331 Did you solve this ? I have the same problem. Ive done all printer calibrations, calibration for each print, dried filament,and tried to lower nozzle temp by 10c. Makes no difference. I’m using HF nozzle.
