Printing issue using white PLA

Hi! I’m trying to print this model. I’ve done several tests, and I find myself in a situation where if I print with transparent or black PLA, I can get the serliana (the colonnade) to come out. If I print in white PLA, it doesn’t come out. The problem lies specifically with the columns of the serliane. The PLA is already calibrated, and I’ve tried different temperatures (210, 220, 225). Is there any advice you can give me? Besides changing the color, using a 0.2 nozzle or going resin.

black print (stringing caused by old ass PLA)

transparent print

botched white print.

So you change only the filament and everything else is the same? Does it seem to clog, just extruding air or what happens exactly?

cut the model so you are slicing just part of the problem area. Do some test prints, raising the temperature each time, until you get something coming out where you want it to. I’m guessing there is some filler in the white filament, or it’s old.

White PLA can have problems because of the titanium dioxide pigment. Sometimes you don’t need to modify your profile, sometimes you do.
