Hello together.
I am new to 3D printing but had no problems the last weeks. I use an X1 Carbon incl. AMS.
Since the last firmware update I have a problem when I want to print PLA-CF. Also with PLA Basic the following problem occurs again and again.
The filament gets stuck at the “outlet”/needle during the printing process and gets stuck. Thus I am not able to print anything.
I have tried the following so far:
Self Check
Calibration
Different filament of the same type. So PLA-CF exchanged against another PLA-CF.
Different glue
Also I print things that could be printed without problems before the firmware update.
I also noticed that the “control lines” that are always printed before the actual printing starts are no longer done correctly… they are no longer finished lines…looks more like “morse code”.
Can you help me please? Or is this a case for support?
Read links on how to clean the nozzle. From your description it sounds like it is partially clogged. But also, with the new FW and slicer update you need to recalibrate your filaments. See the WiKi for information on this.

Seems you are right. I tried to clean it using the “Forcing the clog out” method but it did not work good enough. I will try to unclog using a Pin tool tomorrow afternoon after work.
I will post here, if I was successful or not. But thank you for the hint!

I have cleaned the nozzle and there was a lot of “old” filament inside.
After I cleaned it I tested it with a PLA and it was clean. I also run the flow calibration.
But when I tried my first print (used the small boat) the calibration lines were ok again but then it happened again, that the filament was “stuck” at the nozzle.
Do you have any other ideas?
I have a backup nozzle with the same size available. Would it make sense to replace it?
