Hey everyone, ive been printing with my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon for a couple weeks now with no problems. I’ve just ran into my first, though. Im currently trying to print the other half of a spool adapter for the Sunlu 250g mini spools, since the AMS will not accept them as they are. The first side printes great, no issues, but the other started having little bits of filament sticking up diagonally like little spikes on the first layer, which quickly turned into what is pictured after the first layer. This is printed with Stronghero3D PLA 1.75 Vertigo Galaxy Rainbow on the Studio’s generic PLA setting. How do i fix this?
I would try this first
Right click the image and click on repair file
After the repair is complete slice and try to print
I’ve found some files with errors like empy layers or steep overhangs which I was simple able to ignore and print without issues
Other models show no errors but I could tell they were not printing properly so I stop the print, repair the model and reprint with success
Also take note of your purge lines
Either the flow rate or temp may be a touch too high
Dropping your print temp a couple of degrees would be my first guess but dropping the flow rate from 0.98 to 0.96 may help although reducing the flow rate may cause under extrusion
Sorry for the late reply but thank you for your reply. I ended up raisng the bed temp by 5 degrees and that helped, though i will definitely take those tips into account on future prints. Im very new to 3d printing and all advice is greatly appreciated. Again, thank you for your helpful replies
