Hey all. Since my last update every print I start is paused early on in the print, with an error, “Printing paused by the user”. I didn’t pause anything. I’ve been screen shotting when it happens looking for a pattern but its on a different layer each time. I ran the printer fine for a month before the update. Any help would be appreciated.
I would probably reset printer to factory settings and while printing wouldn’t use Bambu Studio nor Bambu Handy. Maybe micro SD is corrupt? I would change it, clean it, check on PC etc.
Thank you. If there’s a factory reset I will do that.
I use the cloud, no sd, I set prints up to run at night and while I’m at work, so they run while I’m not using Bambu Studio or Handy.
Silly question but could someone at home be pressing the pause button while you’re not there?
haha no that’s not a possibility. It was worth a shot though.
You laugh but on more than one occasion I’ve had machinery in the field “turned off” because a neighbor didn’t like the noise or a cat walked across a control panel.
I mean the X1 isnt quiet… let me go ask my neighbor lol
Just a guess here but I have added a pause by accident after slicing I would scroll down the layer preview and click by accident putting in a pause at what ever layer that I stopped scrolling at. or maybe bambu slicer noticed that what you were printing looked like a logo and asked if you wanted to add a filament change and you chose yes by mistake. Just my guess
I my self recently (aka today) was in a middle of a print. Nothing, absolutely nothing was a factor to pausing the printer. My pc wasn’t on, my phone was not in Bambu handy. But my printer stopped with a message. “ print paused by user” mid print. And I resumed the print. 5min later another pause with “ print paused by user”. Could this be a sign of hacking? I am genuinely worried and temporarily be using manual sd card print and will not be connecting my printer to my network. Does any body have an answer to this? How often do Bambu printers get hacked?
Mine started doing this after the last firmware update with the new super tack plate
Started last night 4/4 on my A1 mini and P1S
