When running PETG-Glass fiber with an AMS2 (P2S), what typically wears out and how frequently?
You wont notice significant wear unless you run it all the time.
PTFE tubes are the first to go.
Frankly, I wouldnt worry about it. The AMS 2 is more durable than you would think. They switched the inlet on the feeder unit to ceramic. On the AMS 1 the filament would start to cut a groove.
Ive run about 8.5kg of Fiberon CF filament in the same slot on one of my AMSs in the past few months and I can not see any noticeable wear.
