My P1s has been acting up recently. Printing abs it would be fine until the very top of the object. I do have variable layer enable. Tried different filament, different temp. It would consistently have the same result.
The printer had its hot end and extruded gears replaced about a year ago. Not sure if it’s under extruding?
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
Your filament looks really really wet. Also is there any infill?
This was a brand new freshly opened Creality abs. But yeah I will try drying it.
Yes it’s got infill, but only 3% since I’m keeping weight in check. Should I bump that up?
Yes absolutely, thats likely the problem. Shoot for about 8%
I would try drying the filament. Filament can come wet, and what filament are you printing? 3% infill is quite low. I always do 5 as the lowest just so the nozzle can lay down the filament and have it dry and not fall
