Prints missing coloured section?

Any idea what would cause the black painting in the X’s on the hands to not print black in a quarter of the X? Happens on both hands, and on every object. The feet also have the exact same painting and they print fine.

A1 Mini.

Is that part of the X thinner than the nozzle size? It can’t do that with the classic wall generator.
The Arachne wall generator will help down to about 60% of the nozzle diameter. Below that, you probably need to use a smaller nozzle.

It does. Tapers down to about .25mm on a .4mm nozzle. But the opposite side of the X is the same width (roughly 2.5mm too) and prints fine. Im going to update my post with the print settings.

If the other X is tilted in space, it may have a reasonable length in the XY plane.
Maybe you can have a look at the Preview (Filament)? If is shows as part-blue, you have a good chance by using the Arachne wall generator. If the preview shows black, have a look at the layer to see if it is trying to print a line rather than just a dot.

So it does show the missing black in orca. I looked line by line and as far as I can tell its printing black properly and then it starts printing blue where it should be black. The other X stem to the side of it continues in black as normal.

Whenever I have a print that has writing or something similar in a different color, I slice the plate, then on the slicing result page that pops up, I change the “Color Scheme” drop down to filament and de select all the boxes. This will show you all the printed lines and how changing the width or nozzles can affect this. I will make my letters the size and font I need or change something like the first layer width, as a lot of my lettering is on the build plate.

I ended up swapping to a .2 in Orca (smaller than the points that are refusing to print in black at .25mm) and they still show blue after slicing. Now im extra confused.
