So the left bearing popped out on my X1C and nothing was sticking to bed. After a month of going back and forth with support I did get printing again.
I trammed the bed, it was very off. So I could print but they decided issue was resolved. Because the bearing is not necessary.
Except I need to tram bed every four prints and now even after tramming the filament isn’t sticking.
Yes cleaned bed. Yes used engineering sheet to tram. Yes that filament worked before.
I never had any issues with nozzle wiper but noticed it was gone. So I put a new one in only for that to break during its first outing.
I don’t believe in coincidence. I’m sure something is off. At least my bed thermistor didn’t die but I haven’t had mine a year yet.
Have not checked to see if bed warped. I do know this last time I trammed the nozzle was about 2mm from bed.

Hi Ahsoka,
Is the XY bearing installed or not it was not clear when reading ?
My X1 nozzle is aligns with the wiper center screw hole so see if you nozzle is way below it ?
Did you do this to the tee with the g code on all four corners do to 2mm is a lot to be off.
Manual Bed Tramming
Are you running the current firmware ?
Are you using all default setting and printer settings or custom ?
What filament type are you using PLA or ?

I’ll bet your nozzle is bent, or lose.

Thanks for the reply.
The bearing came off completely and I cannot get it seated in place. According to Bambu they are really not necessary.
I have just replaced the nozzle, entire thing not just the nozzle.
I am really bad at dimensions but there was enough space using their tramming gcode I could easily see space between the bed and nozzle.
The first time I had to do this was after the bearing popped out. I had four failures and then realized the bearing was out of socket.
I got it to work for about a week then same problem so did the tramming again but this time it isn’t helping.
Martin was a bit rude when informing me the bearings are really only for shipping. Which was never stated before. So I’m annoyed.
The nozzle wiper was broken so I replaced it and it broke again.
My thought is, the entire bed is off and now it messes up the tool head and why it’s still not working.

What bearing are you referring to? Can you post a picture?

It is left side and it wobbles. I tried without the bearing in and it was worse.

Send the machine back, you need a replacement or your money back. As the saying goes, a deal is a deal.

You need to reach out to Bambu again and let them know the printer it not working correctly and the bearing should not be out of the bracket it’s possible even the female threaded shaft nut has pushed the bearing out of the top and this is why your bed is so off level and you can’t not keep it level.
The nozzle wiper is another problem are you using the oem nozzle ?

Can you post a picture of the same rod at the build plate? Want to see if something there is protruding that pushed the idler bearing out.

I have been and they don’t respond. I may start another ticket just to see if I get a response. I’ve sent a log.
I honestly think they think I’m nuts. I’ve sent the video the images and they just wanted to have it resolved. Saying that bearing isn’t necessary.

This is what I was talking about if the gold brass nut has broken and push the upper bearing out ?
This is what it should look like same as your right side nut.
You could warm up the upper plastic bracket and push the bearing back in and see if it will stay for now.
Ya I would open a new support ticket and they should send you the part.
Hi so I just bought a Bambu lab P1S printer and I tried to print something, but my filament wouldn’t stick to the bed and the nozzle just dragged it around the printer. Keep in mind this printer is brand new. What should I do.
Also, if anybody can get in touch with customer support, Bambu lab failed to send me my stock filament cartridge. I got the one with 4 stock filaments and they did not send the black filament. The black filament was missing from the box.
Hi Ahsoka!, What ended up happening, Im having the same issue since June.

I’m guessing it’s the bearing coming loose. I had so many issues with X1C and they basically blamed me. I got rid of it.
However, if it’s bearing, put printer on its side and check the three points where the lead screws are. It is probably the screws came loose and that gets everything off kilter.
