Problem after Update

I have updated the printer, ams & software to the latest version.

Now, when I send a sliced file to the printer via Bambu Studio, everything happens as it did before - the file is sent and confirmed and the screen swaps to the printer view but nothing happens at the printer.

The bed doesn’t heat up, the extruder doesn’t heat up and nothing moves, it just sits there with the printing progress is Bambu Studio showing “N/A”.

From Studio I can manually heat the bed & extruder and move all 3 axis so I know the pc is connected.

ANY suggestions?

There is a few users reporting this on Discord, I was able to send a job fine about 40 minutes ago.

Looks like their may be an issue on their side, awaiting a response from them.

Thanks, guess I’ll wait and see.

I can still print from an sd card or internal storage so the printer seems to be OK.

Been reports of this working again now.

Yes, all working OK now.

Just coincidence that they had a problem their side at the same time as I was updating.

Thanks for your help.

April 2023 now and I’m having the exact same problem. So you just gave it time and they fixed something on their end?

I am also suddenly having this issue! Started around the same time!

Cloud issue for everyone. They’re working on it.

Having the exact same trouble…

Hit “Print File”, file is uploaded successfully, then suddenly out of nowhere - Nothing Happens!

Try hitting the v next to “Print” and select “Send”. Then click the button and it will send it to the SD Card. From there you select the file and print it.

Same for my side. The workaround via SD-Card words fine. Curious about when the issue is fixed.
Btw: downgrade to previous firmware does not solve the problem.

Is this like the good old Windows print spooling issues where it’ll suddenly start working and because you tried 20 times it’ll want to print 19 extra copies you don’t need? :stuck_out_tongue:

A little off topic but one of my managers did that last summer, except it was a 80-page report and he sent it to the printer about 30 times if I remember correctly. His excuse was the print queue wasn’t popping up on his screen like usual so he thought it wasn’t working. It finally stopped printing when all 4 printer trays finally ran out of paper.

I am unable to print with either the cloud service or the LAN.

Cloud service sends to print, but nothing happens at the printer.

The LAN says “LAN Connection Failed (Sending to printer)”, and then when I put the IP address and Access code it says “Error: IP or Access Code are not correct”. But the IP and Access Code are exactly the same on the printer and the Bambu Studio.

Very frustrating

…and this is why I avoid cloud based systems…

I only got my printer yesterday, did a 9 hour print (all the ‘vision’ cladding…) and now I can’t use the damn thing. I wasn’t aware of just how reliant it is on the cloud. At least you can still use F360 locally if the cloud bursts…

The down arrow/ ‘send’ option didn’t work for me.

[EDIT:] I didn’t see the bit about it being sent to the SD card.
So yes, it did work.
Cheers

‘Send’ still didn’t work for me. Printer is showing there are no files on the SD card at all, besides 79gb of timelapses

edit: ftps to the rescue

Have they give an ETA on when it will be fixed
