I have an X1 Carbon printer with AMS. When extruding, the filament often sticks to the hotend nozzle. It makes a small spaghetti, which then travels along the build plate during printing. It also happens that it travels along the already printed surface
and also sticks to the already printed surface. This is a hard obstacle that could damage the printer. Sometimes when cleaning the filament during multi-color printing, the filament comes out of the hotend nozzle for a long time, at first it is a straight vertical jet, then it starts to curl up and sticks to the nozzle.
The cleaning rod or roller does not always clean this, so the spaghetti travels along the build plate again.
The spaghetti sensor is set to maximum sensitivity, but it very rarely detects spaghetti, when they are already very large.
In one case, even while waiting for the test lines to print at the beginning along the front edge of the build plate, the filament just flows out of the nozzle.
In my opinion, extruding or cleaning the hotend takes too long.
Is it possible to adjust the extrusion time in different situations?
Where and how? Does anyone else have such problems?
I have had the printer since February. I dry the filaments.
Thanks and best regards
