I have 10 printers running 24-7
I use Elegoo ASA Black. My nozzle is 280c and bed is 100c
chamber temp runs around 45-48.
I keep my printers cleaned, calibrated and change filter.
i use the smooth plate. I use stick glue.
i print about 30 different parts various sizes.
the attached pics is a part that is 3.25 inches (82mm) x.5 inch thick (13mm)
this part has 2 grooves around the outside of the disk.
I have printed 140 of these with no problems.
now I cannot get a good print.
the changes are:
updated bambu studio maybe 2 or 3 days ago.
the other change could be our weather outside is higher hummidity.
I’m in a large building, insulated real good.
My ams moisture level is at 1, I have desicant pods and keep them dry.
I open the filament and put in the ams and print. so it is not exposed to the air.
ALL of the other parts print perfect.
i slowed down the “other layes speed” in half. it was 300 inner and 200 outer and no change at all.
now I am printing with tree supports. to see if that helps.
this looks like a problem i have with a larger disk that has grooves around the outside. it was 8 inch diameter and the problem with it was warping. increasing chamber temp to 50c or aboue fixed it.
my thing is why did it just start?
IF i go back to the previous version of Bambu studio, with my 3mf files be messed up?
anyone have any insight?
Thanks!
