Hello everyone, I’ve just started printing and had no previous experience. at the beginning printing went without any problems, but since then I’ve had a problem that I couldn’t solve after several hours. I have added 1 more picture to show exactly which part I mean.
I’m having problems with the filament pulling, it clicks and hangs up when I pull it out. It manages to push the filament out, but the part that turns at the top just makes clicking noises, as if it’s not gripping somewhere. You can see the gears on the side if you look inside the cutter, the gears are also running normally, but it makes a strange clicking noise all the time and doesn’t manage to print properly.
i hope anyone can help me ^^
this is common, just turn up your temperature or turn down your speed. at least, if this is the problem that I believe it is, I’d need to see a video of it in action to be sure.
So I followed the advice and heated the printer to 260 degrees and the filament came out easily without any problems.
Then I started a test print at 240 degrees and 50% speed and it doesn’t work at all, it smears everything and prints very badly. I made a video where or how can I best post this ?
also heated it once to 260 degrees and it no longer had the problem with clicking, but it didn’t print properly either, although the filament I use PLA BASIC from Amazon in black is only supposed to print up to 220 degrees according to the description.
make sure in the future that you try not to heat the filament 20 degrees more than rated. too hot and it will sort of smear too much because is too liquidy, too little and it is to solid to push through the extruder.
