I had a large project being printed with white PLA. I had white PLA (nonBambu) in the first two slots of the AMS. I checked the option to have the filament switch when the first filament ran out. I tried this twice and the machine stopped and waited for me to place the filament in the first slot when the initial roll ran out. The second slot was ignored.
Any ideas why the AMS doesn’t switch automatically when the two filaments are identical?
Did you set the filament profiles in the AMS? The type and color need to be the same for each slot.
Type of filament and color were identical.
Well, I don’t know then. It always worked for me.
Not only type and color. Other properties of the filament in the filament profile has to be the same as well.
