As seen in my other topic speculating about a new A1 printer, one of the bigger downsides to the A1s are the cameras. My product request is that we get a way (possibly BamBus connection) to connect a better faster fps camera to show on Bambu Handy App. I know the current board in the A1s does not support it, but maybe the add on could override? What do yall think? Possibly you could even connect your own USB webcam into it to show on app, or have just an upgrade to go in same spot. Vote below!

The bambu bus is a low-bandwidth (maybe 100kbps) serial link and cannot support a camera.

Is there any way you would suggest it could work?
Replacing the current camera with a better one using the existing interface might not be possible, I suspect the limitation is that the A1 processor itself does not have sufficient CPU power for a faster frame rate or higher resolution.

It is simply not feasible. Power is not the issue, the communication and computing power is.
At that point, when you replace the Camera module, mainboard, and most likely the power supply, you have a different printer. Same thing as @krellboy already said.
What you probably want is a smart camera that you can mount to your A1.

Use a DSLR on a tripod setup. 
The camera built into the A1 is useless, as we all know. I ended up buying a Tapo C100 so I can check the printing progress when I’m not at home. But more than just having a new camera for the printer, the idea of being able to use an external camera and integrate its feed into the Bambu app seems excellent. It would, in a way, solve this issue.
