How about an evolution of the AMS HT that can be connected via teflon tube to an AMS 2 Pro? The idea being that each reel can (in turn) send its filament to this hypothetical HT which would then automatically reel it up, and then reverse the process to put the filament back.
The motive is to expose all of the filament to the warm air of a drying cycle so it dries as effectively as possible. In theory it’s a matter of a special spool for the HT that has a controllable socket to grip the filament, a means of guiding the filament to it, and some software to support it.
