Profile for Bambu PA6-CF and Upgraded HOTEND W/ 0.6 Nozzel

Being a Newbie in the Bambu Studio how do I get or make a Profile to print Items with PA6-CF Filament?

Also what is a good upgrade HOTEND that has a 0.6mm Nozzle? thanks

Just use the profile for “Generic PA-CF” or “Bambu PA6-CF” and go from there if you need to modify it anything. Most likely it will print fine on the stock profiles. Click the gear icon beside the “Filament” tab if those are not visible to turn them on.

The best cheap option is the AliExpress hot ends that are sold by many sellers for $15. If you dont want to wait, they can be found on Amazon as well for a higher price. The nozzles just screw in and easily replaceable without the need to remove the complete hot end assembly. The CHT style will give you more potential for speed as they split the filament in 3 and heat the it from the inside.

Thanks! I ordered a couple of these and some extra Nozzles. Should be all set Ill ck out making a profile for PA6-CF in Bambu Lab. Thanks again!
:+1:

When changing the tip, you need two wrenches a 7mm and a 4mm together, otherwise you can bend the throat. Get some quality ones as the one included with the hot end is garbage. Also careful not to crush the heating element when doing it.

Hi again in BAMBU LAB STUDIO I opened it up and selected the standard Generic PA-CF but I was planning on using a 0.6mm nozzle. But there are none available in the pull down Nozzle Menu. So how do you change that? Thanks

Hi thanks!! I have a good set of METRIC Craftsman Wrenches and Sockets so I think I am All set there, I did take a Screen shot of your PIC and Instructions and have saved for future reference. :fu:

You typically add your nozzle sizes when you first add your printer during setup of Bambu Studio/Orca Slicer. Fortunately you can change the configuration to include new nozzles.

On the left side menu, go to the gear on the top right corner. This will open Printer Selection.

From here, select whichever nozzle size you have for your printer.
