Project Cost Estimation in BS?

Is there a project cost estimation feature hidden somewhere in Bambu Studio? I always liked how in Prusa Slicer it would give the estimated cost of the project under the “Sliced Info” tab.

I find it very strange that this feature was not included when BL reskinned and reformatted Bambu Studios from Prusa Slicer.

Screenshot included from Prusa Slicer in case I did not explain it clearly.

Set the cost/kg in the filament settings:

After slicing, the estimated cost is listed with Line Type:

Wow. I really do have stunning attention do detail, don’t I? It was right in front of me the whole time.
Thank you, Ikraus!

I’ve made a #Publicly viewable and #OpenSource google sheet to track all my Prints, Materials, Hardware, Electrical & post processing costs.

is the cost displayed in euros or in dollars ?? please

Probably just depends on what unit you use when you set the filament cost/kg.

Being that the BL filament rolls each have a uniquely serialized NFC tag, it seems like this is something that they could track and automatically update the actual price you paid for a spool automatically when you load it in the AMS…

I really do wish you could still edit the manufacturer and color name. Now you get default presets, and Generic is generally the only option unless you use bambu filament or one of 3 others. But you can still edit the price. It’s kind of a pain if you have similar colors in the AMS units at the same time.

Huh? What is your target?
You can edit all the parameters in the json file of the filament.
