Anyone know what the factory specs are for the two PTFE lengths on the X1C.
Buffer to coupler
Toolhead to coupler
Thanks.

The PTFE lengths should be the following (according to the wiki YT videos):
Buffer to Coupler: 370mm
Coupler to Toolhead: 550mm(? This isn’t confirmed but browsing around it was stated to be approximately half a meter long.)
They sell the PTFE tubes here as well: Bambu PTFE Tube | Bambu Lab Global
Keep in mind, that the tube inner diameter (ID) is 2.5mm and the outer diameter (OD) is 4.0mm, which is rather exotic, since most PTFE tubes for 1.75mm filament (4mm OD) have an ID of 2.0mm and are a bit thicker.
I don’t know whether non Bambu PTFE tubes will work well, thus I also just bought tubes off Bambu. They have a 4m long one which you can cut to your desired length.
I am currently using a non-Bambu PTFE tube for my AMS to Buffer. It is a 4mm OD x 3mm ID tube and hasn’t given any issues so far.

Yeah I saw that on the wiki and that’s why I’m asking. 550mm seems very long for toolhead to coupler. I know the 370mm is for the buffer. I’m thinking that 550mm is for buffer to AMS. IDK?
Tho that could be it.
I too am planning on getting the 3m id tubing. I am so sick and tired of AMS pull back problems. I’ve printed out several fixes that have helped but I think the tubing will help too.
I use 2.5mm ID clear ptfe tubes from aliexpress, I made a tool to cut to length PTFE Cutting Jig for AMS, X1, P1, A1 series (10 differents sizes) by Marc Elbichon - MakerWorld , works great
Yes, AMS to Buffer is about 550mm in length. I’m assuming Coupler to Toolhead is also 550mm as the kit from Bambu has 2x of the 550mm length.
As for pull back issues, what solved this for me is printing mods that would straighten out the tubes at various locations. If the radius of the tubes are too small, there’s too much tension on the tubes and the pull back error appears. Below are the mods that I’ve printed on MakerWorld:
Fantastic. Thanks for a great tool
Def a few there I will try… ty
