PTFE quick release for AMS not working

I have 2 AMS units for my X1C, on one of the units I can push the two-finger quick release at the back of the AMS and the PTFE tubes easily removes.

The other AMS’s quick release doesn’t work. There is no “push” to the quick release, you cannot push down. Is this something I can replace? I haven’t taken anything apart, I just noticed it from removing broken filament from my AMS. I’m guessing the two-finger push thing just lines up with one of Bambu Lab’s quick releases?

Looks like the quick release in the back of the AMS is part of the internal hub unit which sells for 55 bucks.
