Now that it doesn’t further derail Malcolm’s thread… Nice save.

You are correct that congress has final say but it is only if they choose to and there may be some amount of time that a president can act unilaterally and congress can’t interfere. It’s like how he can commit troops to a battle somewhere for I think 60 or 90 days all on his own but after that congress has to approve further commitment.

What is happening now are executive orders that are taking effect and changing tariffs and other things with no debate, no discussion, no concern for consequences. Just fat little fingers and a Sharpie.

It’s not congress.

Took the Dive and Glad I did! Love the printer, I did wait till it was available at my closest Microcenter which was same price as the BambuStore. Absolutely in love with this printer.

No bambu. There’s a user breaking many rules from stealing models to using Ai generated images to mislead and so on. Let me repoooort it

Please tell us how many you had to put through to hit that limit. I have done 50 to 60 at a time and have never gotten that.

Want me to finish up the reports?

Plus $6.99 shipping.

Why? Do they charge $6.99 for what they ship to dealers? Or just us Peons?

Thanks, but no thanks. I already have a wider array than that of the colors I particularly want.

Little boogers like that run out when the time is critical.

I still think the $6.99 shipping is a rip off. Best Buy doesn’t charge me shipping, Of course, walking into the store is dangerous, Might drool on something else and have to buy it.

Besides, they’d look pitiful bobbing around in my AMS 2 Pro’s. I stepped right around them from the start.

I will always inject common sense when it is needed. Got your leg, pullin it.

Not much for me. About 5 miles round trip. So in my truck, 4 trips to the gallon. ( Maybe a buck 30 for shipping if it’s a one shot trip. And no waiting.)

Time wise, Hah, I’m retired, so really my time is worthless. I’m just out to pasture anyway.

And it is very convenient to get off my butt and get out of the house. But I only did the trip once last week, and once this week. So not even enough to keep a body regular. But it beats waiting on USPS, or UPS, or FedEx, and not getting out of the house.

I have to be careful I don’t drool on something like an in-stock printer or see some other filament and buy it like I did yesterday. The store I’ve been going to has 3 different brands of filament for me to stare at like a wide-eyed kid in a candy shop.

More often the employees don’t offer to help, but occasionally one does. So I’m cordial even though I’ve already done my decision making before I left the house (except on impulse buys). That way I don’t wonder around like other ninnies going here there and other places blindly looking.

No, I don’t think you are being unkind, but first off, I’m not blond and not a female. So not even close to your ditzy neighbor. And yes, my time really is worthless because I have a lucrative retirement income, I busted my butt to earn. So enjoying the fruits of my labor. Something many won’t have, I realize.

I am helping the cashier, and the brain-dead wandering around trying to appear busy, to keep their jobs. So maybe you could consider that. I think I’m helping the college kids working at the stores I trade with. I’ve been working since I was 15 in one way or another. If UPS, FedEx, or USPS is the best you can do I applaud you. At least you’re working. If Walmart is your career, the same, at least you are trying to achieve independence. I worked for Walmart after I retired. I called it “my fishin money”. They offered me a Greeter position when I told them I wanted to quit after 4 nights of pushing a dust mop at $9.■■ an hour. (Just under minimum wage at the time.) So yeah, I’ve actually been in those shoes. Have you?

Serious thought? Yep, sure have, even done it. But I’m also not the Welfare office either. (although the way I spend money, people might think I am.) FYI, I’ve paid the $6.99 several times. I just needed something and didn’t want to do a Costco run. (The hundred dollar store) I’ve also added more spools to get to the free shipping requirement. (Oh Gosh. You don’t suppose the guys in shipping had to work for free because I did that, do you?) It doesn’t matter if it’s an item that actually costs less than the shipping charge, or a pile that falls short of the $85.00 minimum to qualify for free shipping. $6.99 S&H is baloney.

Incidentally, I do shop on eBay as well. Often. Folks there often offer free shipping. The ones that don’t? They don’t get my business. I’ve even bought filament on eBay. :poop: Paying for shipping is definitely an option for me, one I rarely pay. I’m a consumer, I am the customer. And I will ply my options when I want to. I can buy Genuine Bambu Labs filament at my local Best Buy for the same prices as online, and not pay extra for shipping and handling. So I do.

Sorry if I choose to play my cards differently. You might want to consider being more of a counsellor, and not a con-seller.

Final word: Insignia™ TPU 1.75mm Filament Black NS-3FTPU2BK - Best Buy

Note, $19.99 plus whatever taxes in your area. Yes, you actually have to get off your butt and go get it. In my case there is a Jack In The Box right across the parking lot, and a Trader Joes right next door. I could kill two or three birds with one stone if I wanted a burger or something from Trader Joes.

Shipping and Handling charges tacked on is false advertising. Bottom Line. If you just lay there and take it at least ask for a kiss.

I actually had to think of this instead:

I’m sure this is subject to change, but

Free My Best Buy Account: Sign up for a basic, free account to eliminate the $35 purchase minimum for standard shipping.”

So you can stay on your butt and still skip the shipping cost line!

Edit: I think it may not be clear that equates to free shipping.

Orders Over $35: Non-members qualify for free standard shipping automatically if the pre-tax cart total reaches $35.
