Push notifications delayed & missing

Has anyone else noticed that push notifications are going through a period of serious delays, by an hour or more?

Additionally, informational notifications that are particularly timely like; filament runout or tangle detected are not being sent at all?

With the informational notifications, I notice the app UI has become far more visual when announcing these, but, you have to be in the app to actually see them and given nothing prompts you to refer to the app, it can be some time before you notice.

I’m not in the room with my printers whilst they’re printing so I don’t have the obvious “somethings wrong because it stopped” indications.

Yes quite often the same problem

I disabled all Handy notifications about a year ago. Many events failed to generate a notification, the ones that did were very delayed. They were all more of a nuisance than a help.

Yes, I have also notice a major notification delay the last few times I printed.

I use Home Assistant for notifications. It works.

Not only that - some of them are no longer delivered at all. The mobile phone app also very often gets stuck so that the device tab displays outdated information. Refreshing doesn’t help either, you have to close the app and restart it.

I never receive notifications about messages, comments or anything else as push or badge information from the app anyway - but for some time now I’ve only been receiving information from the printer itself very irregularly, so I’m constantly checking the app myself.

At the weekend, I started setting everything up in HomeAssistant so that I at least get immediate notification of things from there.

The software (Handy, BambuStudio) leaves a lot to be desired in addition to the firmware (X1C Beta no longer lets you print, AMS forgots offen whats in Slot1, … ) and its support (weeks of writing back and forth with AI). When you consider that it’s all such a locked-down system that costs a LOT of money, you kind of wonder what it’s all about.
