Has anyone done the factory babmu LED light on the other side? seems like perfect placement and it would give a factory look. Sure you would have to splice into the factory original LED wires but that’s simple. The only light I seem to lack is on the opposite side of the original LED light. Thoughts? It’s cheap and would look so much more factory than other options I’ve seen.

I don’t think this is a solution because the camera then looks into the light of this extra led bar. A top rizer with led would be a better solution.

I am not 100% sure of that because the camera is angled down. And the Bambu light is very soft. I wanted to do the top mount lights but they seem super bright and to me that would interfere with the AI and camera/lidar. I honestly think Bambu put their light in that position for a very good reason. I’m guessing any extra light probably isn’t ideal for the engineering that went into it. Why I’m hesitant to modify it at all. Those guys are no dummies.

I’m using a top rizer with led (RGBWW) and the bl led controller (BLLC from DutchDevelop). The led wil turn of while lidar is examening the bed. During print the led is turned white, turned green completed printting and turned red if there is an error.
That sounds slick any links or info on how to set that up?
